The origins of the Penticton Golf & Country Club go back to a 9 hole course that shared a fairway with a racetrack, located in the area of the Memorial Arena. This course was entirely built by enthusiastic volunteers and maintained by the players.

Over the years the club grew and changed locations several times, continuing to improve with each move. In 1961 the Penticton Golf & Country Club opened the first 18 hole golf course in the British Columbia Interior. In 1965 the present site became available and the course became championship-sized for the first time.

Over the long history of the club, the defining factor has always been the enthusiasm of its members and their dedication to the game of golf.

Blue Heron Restaurant

The Blue Heron restaurant offers a casual setting and the menu is extensive, offering everything from light snacks to hearty dinners. Pair your meal with a great selection of Okanagan wines, or try a pint of our local craft beer. All day breakfast!!

Bookings for banquets, meetings, celebration of life and weddings are welcome. Dine inside or relax on the patio overlooking the course. The views are nothing short of amazing!

The Golf Shop at Penticton Golf & Country Club is proud to feature the latest golf and lifestyle apparel, equipment, footwear and accessories at competitive prices. Our staff are committed to providing exceptional service and quality advice on all products.

We offer custom club fittings with our GCQUAD (Launch Monitor) for Taylormade, Callaway, Srixon/Cleveland. Must book in advance.

Our PGA of Canada Professionals provide lessons for all skill levels, please contact the Golf Shop for more information.
